What we collect

We only collect information you choose to send us:

• Contact form: your name, email address, phone number and the message you write.
• Email and job applications: whatever you include when you write to us, for example a resume sent to our careers address.

When you submit the contact form we also record the time of the request and a scrambled (one-way hashed) version of your IP address. We use it only to spot spam and abuse, for example someone sending hundreds of messages. We cannot turn the hash back into your IP address.

This website does not use advertising cookies or analytics trackers. Our hosting provider may keep standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type and pages requested) for security and technical operation.

How we use it

• To read and reply to your enquiry and to discuss your project.
• To consider job or internship applications.
• To keep the website and our systems secure and free of spam.

We do not sell your information and we do not use it for advertising.

Consent

By sending the contact form or writing to us you agree that we may use your details for the purposes above. You can withdraw that consent at any time by emailing us.

Who can see it

Messages sent through the contact form are stored in a protected database. Only authorized members of our staff can open them, using an account protected by a password and optional two-step verification. We share information with others only where needed to run our services (for example our web hosting and email providers) or where the law requires it.

The contact page shows a Google Maps view of our office. When that page loads, Google may collect information under its own privacy policy. Links to our pages on LinkedIn, Facebook, X and YouTube lead to services with their own policies.

How we protect it

• Connections to the website are encrypted (HTTPS).
• Administrator passwords are stored only in scrambled (hashed) form, sign-in attempts are limited, and sign-in activity is logged.
• The contact form is checked and rate-limited to block abuse, and data is handled with prepared database queries to prevent tampering.

No system is perfectly secure, but we work to keep your information safe and will act promptly if a problem is found.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries only for as long as we need them to respond to you and to keep a reasonable record of our conversations. Job applications are kept so we can contact you when a suitable position opens, unless you ask us to remove them earlier.

Your choices

You can ask us at any time to show you the information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Email info@himantechnologies.com from the address you used and we will respond as soon as we reasonably can.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle information we will update this page and the date at the top.
